MAGNERS COMEDY
Magners has a considerable pedigree in promoting stand-up comedy. Title sponsor the Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival, held annually in March, this is the largest comedy event in Europe, sporting names of international acclaim from across the comedy spectrum.
For the second year, Magners are also sponsoring stand up on broadcast channel Paramount Comedy, home to some of the most well known comedy acts on stage, many of whom feature at the Magners Comedy Festival Brighton and national tour Edinburgh & Beyond.
Magners sponsorship of the Edinburgh Fringe continues this year also. Building on the success of its 61st festival last year, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival continues to grow with a programme incorporating comedy, music, theatre and exhibitions.
As the popularity of comedy shows and festivals continues to grow, Magners have this year launched the Magners Pub Comedy Awards, asking pub goers to Stand Up for Your Local.
